I wanted to share where the inspiration for the creature from the latest tree gag:
I
drew this balloon bird-like creature sometime last year. So as I was
trying to come up with another tree gag, I thought it would work well
and be quite funny to see.
Here's the explanation behind the creature:
"The creature expands as it eats, until it's full and must release its waste."
"After the creature discharges the ball-like waste, it returns to its original skinny lanky shape."
It was very fun to animate and bring this sketch to life.
