Ken Turner - Alternative Art Poster #100: “Mutants”

The final poster I completed for 2022 was a milestone poster. I first started in 2015 making alternative posters and have been making at least one a month ever since. My very first poster was for X-Men: Days of Future Past and it’s sort of come full circle in a weird way. My love for mashups may have first started with Toy Story and Sid’s mutant toys. So it’s fitting to pay tribute to them with this poster. Here’s to the first 100 and now to the next 100.

As a big Muppets fan as a kid, in my toy collection I had those baby Muppet characters that each had there own mode of transportation and were interchangeable with each vehicle. So it was very nostalgic to do this poster, which is a mashup of Muppets and Hello Kitty.
